Such a profitable partnership came to its apotheosis in 2009 with the release of FIFA 10, the greatest FIFA title ever made. EA Sports and FIFA may be set to part ways after FIFA 23 debuts later this year thanks to creative disagreements, but there was a time when the duo felt like a match made in heaven. There was a time, however, when it seemed as though fans and critics were in complete agreement with regard to the supremacy of the FIFA label.
